What are the best a levels to take for a radiography career?
Q. I want to be a diagnostic radiographer but im unsure what a levels to take. I want to take biology (biological science?) and am interested in psychology but am aiming for 3 or 4 a levels. Should i take another science or ditch pyschology for a more academic subject? Atm im taking gcse history, geograohy and buisness (aswell as the compulsory subjects, including all 3 sciences). I want to plan ahead so any suggestions would be appreciated.

A. I would say go to your careers advisor at school or college. They are equipped to help you. Radiography - I believe you need maths, but double check this with a careers advisor. Have a look at the UCAS site there is the link for Diagnostic Radiography. It should tell you somewhere there about the courses that they prefer, however, many universities will now go on pratical experience as well as academic results. If you know roughly which uni you want to go to, then have a look on the university page as well as UCAS, and maybe send off for some prospectuses to check entry requirements for the course. Good Luck!
